LightXtreme VPN Terms

These terms describe the rights and obligations that come with using LightXtreme VPN, covering account registration, buying a plan, working with the client and getting support afterwards. We keep the wording plain: how a subscription is counted, when a refund is due, what is allowed and what is not. Downloading, installing or using LightXtreme VPN means you have read these terms and accepted them.

1. Scope of the service

LightXtreme VPN delivers cross-region network acceleration together with privacy protection, and ships clients for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Android TV, Apple TV and Linux, plus extensions for the major browsers. The network reaches more than 70 countries and regions from over 2,000 servers, and the nodes you can actually connect to are the ones listed inside the client.

Trial and plan options

The very first download carries a 30-minute free trial. After that the service runs on a subscription, and any plan you pick works the same way: one account may stay online on up to 3 devices at the same time.

Ways to pay

Payment runs through Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay, credit cards, PayPal, Google Play and Stripe. A plan is active as soon as the payment clears, while the exact settlement time follows whatever the payment channel decides.

2. Refunds and cancellations

A 30-day money-back guarantee applies. Inside those 30 days from activation you can ask for a refund inside the client or by email, tell us how you used the service, and we will work through the request. The moment a refund is approved, the related plan rights stop. Subscriptions past 30 days, or already used in proportion, cannot be refunded unless the law says otherwise.

Credit for service interruptions

If our own servers are the reason you cannot connect for a long stretch, and you tell us quickly, we may add time to your subscription as compensation.

3. Rules for acceptable use

While you are on LightXtreme VPN you must respect the laws and the network usage rules of the place you are in, and you must not put the service to any illegal use, including but not limited to:

  • attacking, intruding on or disrupting other networks or servers, or conducting fraud, phishing or other unlawful activity;
  • bulk registering accounts, sharing or transferring them, or abusing trial and subscription resources through automation;
  • transmitting illegal or harmful content, or infringing the intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate rights of others;
  • using the service in a way that breaches the terms of the platform it is used on.

Accounts that break those rules can be suspended, have features limited, or be closed altogether, and serious cases may be pursued legally.

4. Intellectual property

The intellectual property in the LightXtreme VPN client software, the website content, the interface design, the icons and the word marks belongs to LightXtreme VPN and the relevant rights holders. Without written permission you may not copy, modify, decompile, redistribute or use any of it commercially. Personal data that you generate while using the service lawfully stays yours.

When the service changes

Features, node layout, plan prices and promotions may be adjusted from time to time, and every change is published on this website. When a change affects the rights attached to a plan, we announce it in advance, and anyone who has already paid keeps the benefits they bought until the end of the paid period.

What we cannot be held to

As far as the law allows, LightXtreme VPN cannot answer for dropped connections or swings in speed that come from force majeure, a carrier fault or a local policy change. A VPN changes the path your traffic takes, so a few sites may still refuse connections that arrive through a VPN because of their own risk rules.
